The Ispahani Limited two-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series between Bangladesh Cricket team and Afghanistan Cricket team was concluded at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Saturday last.
Liton Das of Bangladesh was the highest scorer of the series. He scored 73 runs playing two T20I matches. He hit 60 runs in the first T20I. He had one half-century. His average was 36.50.
Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan was the second highest scorer of the series. He scored 65 playing two T20I matches. He hit an unbeaten 59 in the second T20I match. He had one half-century. His average was 65.
Usman Ghani of Afghanistan was the third highest scorer of the series. He scored 47 playing one T20I match. His average was 47.
Afif Hossain of Bangladesh was the fourth highest scorer of the series. He scored 32 runs playing two T20I matches. He notched up 25 in the first T20I match. His average was 16.
Mahmudullah Riyad was the fifth highest run-getter in the series. He scored 31 runs playing two T20I matches. He made 21 in the second T20I match. His average was 15.50.
Fazalhaq Farooqi of Afghanistan was the highest wicket-taker in the series. He plucked five wickets at the cost of 45 runs. His best bowling figure was three wickets in the space of 18 runs.
