A special team of police in a drive arrested a listed terror and ring leader of a city mugging gang in the capital’s Malibagh Chowdhury Para area on Thursday night. The arrested person has been identified Bagha Babu.
Rampura Police Station’s Operation Officer Mustafizur Rahman confirmed the matter and said that a team of police conducted a raid following a secret information in theMatir Mosque area of Malibagh around 11:00pm and arrested Babu from the spot.
He said, dozens of general diaries (GDs) and cases have been filed with the various police stations under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
