Police arrested a listed Jammat cadre and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunitions from his home at Samdar Para area under Satkania upazila early Saturday morning.
The arrestee was identified as Sarwar Kamal, 35, a Jammat cadre of the area.
M Fariduddin Khandaker, Officer-in-Charge of Satkania Police Station, said acting on a tip-off, a team of Satkania police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Sarwar at around 6:00am.
