Lions Club International District 315 B-1, Bangladesh has distributed food items and clothes among thousands of flood-affected families in different areas of Zakiganj and Golapganj upazilas in Sylhet district.
Food items and clothes were distributed among thousands of flood-affected families at Maizgram area of Barohal union in Zakiganj and Syed Maqbool Hossain High School ground in Amura union of Golapganj on Monday. Also in Subidpur union of Baniachang upazila of Habiganj in the morning and Mathiura union of Beanibazar upazila of Sylhet in the afternoon.
They are distributing relief among the flood victims.
District Governor of Lions District 315B-1 Lion Sharif Ali Khan, IPDG Lion Shahena Rahman and Fast Vice District Governor Lion Lutfur Rahman handed over food items and clothes to the flood victims. Relief items included rice, pulses, oil, onions, salt, potatoes, chira, mudri, food saline. Among the clothes was sari lungi. District Cabinet Secretary Lion Mir Konak, GMT District Coordinator Lion Ashiquzzaman Chowdhury Emon, Relief Distribution Steering Committee Chairman Lion Harun Al-Rashid Dipu, Advisor Lion Dr Shah Zaman Chowdhury Bahar, Shamsul Alam were present during the relief distribution. Secretary Lion Sajuan Ahmed, Treasurer Lion Amin Uddin Ahmed, Member Lion Gautam Lal Dutt, Lion Engineer Mohammad Abu Taher, Lion Ruhul Amin Chowdhury Geda, Lion Firuz Ahmed, Lion Masum Ahmed Joardar and Ajit Kumar Bhatracharya among others.
