The government issued a gazette notification announcing a three-day limited scale lockdown from Monday to check the spread of coronavirus.
The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification on Sunday to this end adding some conditions and points to the ongoing restrictions and programmes to restrain coronavirus transmission taking into account the current situation of Covid-19.
The lockdown will remain in force from 6 am on June 28 to 6am on July 1, the circular, it said.
It said the movement of all modes of public vehicles except goods-laden ones and rickshaws will go under the restriction and the members of law enforcement agencies will ensure it through regular patrolling. All shopping malls, markets, recreation centres, resorts, community centers, tourist spots will remain shut during the lockdown.
All public transport services except freight vehicles and rickshaws will remain suspended across the country. The restrictions would have to be implemented through regular patrolling by members of law enforcement agencies.
All shopping malls, markets, tourist centers, resorts, community centers and entertainment centers will be kept shutdown.
Food shops, hotels and restaurants will be able to sell food (online/takeaway only) from 8 am to 8 pm.
Government, private offices have to bring in and take only the required number of officers and employees in the management of their respective offices.
Consciousness raising campaign for wearing facemasks by people would have to be further strengthened and if required legal actions should be taken.  
The government imposed the countrywide restrictions on public movement on April 5 this year and enforced the ‘strict lockdown’ from April 14. The ‘lockdown’ was later extended several times.
