Theater activist Lily Chowdhury, the wife of late martyred intellectual Munier Choudhury, died.
The 92-year-old breathed her last at around 5pm on Monday, confirmed her son Asif.
Lily Chowdhury, who died at her Banani residence, was suffering from old-age complications for a long time.
According to sources,
her body will be kept at the Central Shaheed Minar for public mourning from 11:30am to 12:30pm on Tuesday.
She will be buried at the Banani graveyard beside her husband and son’s grave after Zohr prayers on Tuesday, they added.
She is survived by her two sons.
