At least two farmers were killed by a lightings strike at Gundhar area in Karimganj upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Md. Hanis Miah (60) and Md. Ramjan Ali (42) of Gundhar area under Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj.
Locals and police said that a streak of thunderbolt struck farmer Haris and Ramjan while they were working in the paddy field.
