A youth was killed as a thunderbolt hit him in Hizolgani Haor under Itna upazila of Kishoreganj on Saturday midnight.
The victim was identified as Masudur Rahman (30) son of Md. Abdul Khaleque at Raji village of Itna upazila under Kishoreganj District.
Itna Police Sation Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Abdul Malek said that Masud was hit by a lighting strike while he was catching the fishing a Hizolgani haor waterbody midnight.
Locals rushed Masudur to Itna Hospital when duty doctor declared him dead.
