Faridpur Correspondent :
One person was killed in lightning strike at village Kornikanda under Bhanga upazila of Faridpur on Tuesday night.
The victim is identified as Parvez Hossain, 25, son of one Zhangir Mia of the area.
Witnesses said on the night Parvez was talking with his cell phone when a thunder stroke in a near by tree that also created shock on him. But did not touch others beside him.
He was immediately taken to Bhanga upazila health complex where medics declared him dead.
Medical representative found dead
A medical representative has been found dead at his rented house at South Alipur of Faridpur town on Tuesday morning.
The dead is identified as Narayan Shaha, 25, son of one Bijoy Kumar Shaha of village Raygram under Lohagara upazila of Narail district. He worked with ACME Pharmacutical.
Sub-inspector Md Nasir Uddin of Kotwali police told that he might hanged himself but did not know the cause of his death.
The body was sent to morgue for autopsy..
