A man was killed after being stuck by thunderbolt at Datmondol village in Nasirnagar upazila on Friday noon.
The deceased was identified as Rafi Uddin Ahmed, the Imam of Datmondol Jame Masjid.
Locals said a thunderbolt hit him while he was working in the paddy filed, killing him on the spot.
Police recovered the body and sent it to a hospital for autopsy, said Inspector Kabir Hossain (investigation) of Nasirnagar Police Station.
