Two people were killed in lighting strike at Baniabahu under Jessore Sadar upazila and Kumarghata village under Monirampur upazila in Jessore recently. The dead were identified as Tahazzat Morol, 65, organizing secretary, ward number 1 of Chansra union council and resident of Baniabahu village and Rezaul Gain, 40 of Kumarghata village under Monirampur upazila. They were killed in lightning strike during rain.
