Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind may occur at different parts of the country in 24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershower with temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a met office bulletin issued on Monday.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere over North Bay, it added.
However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
