Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted light to moderate rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Wednesday morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BSS.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 23.8 degree Celsius jointly in Rajarhat and Hatiya, while Wednesday’s minimum temperature was 31. degree Celsius in Srimangal.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 121 mm in Chuadanga.
