Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Tuesday morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BSS.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 35.2 degree Celsius in Chuadanga, while Tuesday’s minimum temperature was 24.2 degree Celsius in Nikli.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 133 mm in Sylhet.
