Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am.
“Light to moderate rain or showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Monday morning. Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday recorded 35.5 degree Celsius in Jashore, while Monday’s minimum temperature was 24.5 degree Celsius in Rajarhat. The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 56mm in Dimla.
