Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Friday predicted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am.
“Light to moderate rain or showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Friday morning.
Rain may also occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country’s southern part, the bulletin said, reports BSS.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and it may abate.
