Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicts light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at some places over the country in next 24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places in Rangpur division, at many places in
Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places in Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at some places in northern part of the country until early today,” said a met office press release issued here on Tuesday morning.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period, it added.
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded 35.4 degrees Celsiuson Monday at Jashore in Khulna while Tuesday’s minimum temperature 23.5 degreesCelsius at Sayedpur in Rangpur division.
