Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty and heavy to heavy falls at places over the country are likely to occur in the next 24 hours ending 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is
likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a
few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Rajshahi and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met bulletin issued on Thursday morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
“The axis of monsoon trough runs through Panjab, Hariyana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar,
Gangetic West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh. One of associated trough extends up to North Bay,” the release said, adding that monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
