Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over the country as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Chattogram and Barishal divisions; at many places over Khulna, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.,” said a BMD press release. Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release added. The maximum temperature in the country was recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday at Tangail in Dhaka division and minimum temperature was 25.1 degrees Celsius on Monday at Sandwip in Chattogram division.
