Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at places in the country in 24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Chittagong, Mymensingh, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am on Sunday,” said a Met office press release.
The axis of monsoon troughs runs through Punjab, Hariyana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to Assam across northern part of Bangladesh.
