Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasts light to moderate rain or thundershowers throughout the country in next 24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions,” said a BMD bulletin issued here on Saturday morning. Moderately heavy falls may also take place at some places over country in next 24 hours commencing 9am on yesterday, the bulletin added. Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The maximum temperature was recorded 36.6 degrees Celsius on Friday at Rajshahi while Saturday’s minimum temperature 25.0 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
