Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted light to moderate rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning, reports BSS.
Day temperature may rise by (1-2) °C and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded 23.5 degree Celsius in Rajarhat, while today’s minimum temperature was 32.9 degree Celsius in Sylhet.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 126 mm in Khulna.
