Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes are likely to occur at many places across the country in next 24 hours ending at 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes are likely to occur at many places in Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions,” said a Met bulletin issued here on Monday morning.
A few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may see light to moderate rain and moderately heavy falls in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday, the bulletin said. Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 36.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday at Sylhet while Monday’s minimum temperature 25.0 degrees Celsius at Sandwip and Feni in Chattogram division.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am on Monday was recorded 46 mm at Teknaf in Chattogram division.
