Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am on Tuesday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions. at a few places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions.
and at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet
divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Southern
part of the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Tuesday morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BSS.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 35.3 degrees Celsius in
Rajshahi, while Tuesday’s minimum temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius jointly in Teknaf and Rajarhat.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 15mm in Patuakhali.
