Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday said rain might continue over the next 24 hours commencing 9am.
In a forecast, the Met Office said light to moderate rain and thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
A few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Barishal and Khulna divisions might also be be hit by rain. Some other places across the country might see moderately heavy falls, BMD said.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged all over the country. Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.6 degrees Celsius at Mongla and Chuadanga and minimum temperature today was 24.3 degrees Celsius at Teknaf.
The maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded in Mymensingh (24 millimeters).
