Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday said light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at many places over the country as of 9 am today. “Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country”, said a BMD weather bulletin. “Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay”, it added.
However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature in the country was recorded 35.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday in Rajshahi and minimum temperature was 23.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday at Teknaf in Chattogram division.
