Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind with moderately heavy to heavy falls is likely to occur at some places across the country in next 24 hours commencing 9 am on Tuesday, said a met office press release.
Day and night temperature may fall by (1-2) degrees Celsius in Southern part of the country and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius on Monday at Khulna while Tuesday’s minimum temperature 21.7 degrees Celsius at Dimla in Rangpur division.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am on Tuesday was recorded 35mm at Teknaf in Chattogram division, the release added.
