Bangladesh meteorological Department (BMD) predicts light to moderate rain or thundershowers throughout country in next 24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions with moderatelyheavy falls at some places over the country during the period,” said a met office release here on Friday.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
Country’s highest temperature on Thursday was recorded by 35.6 degree Celsius at Srimangal and lowest temperature on Friday was recorded by 24.2 degreeCelsius at Srimangal.
Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am on Friday was recorded by 68 millimeters (mm) at Srimangal.
