A mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Khulna, Satkhira, Jashore, Dhaka and Kishoreganj, and it may abate in 24hours as of 9 am today.
The met office predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowersaccompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes at manyplaces over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal,Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderate to heavy rainfall at placesover the country during the period.
Day temperature may fall by 1-3 degree Celsius with slight fall in nighttemperature over the country, a met office weather bulletin said.
