Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday predicted that light rain or drizzle may occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
“Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Mymensingh and Chattogram divisions”, said a met office bulletin issued on Thursday morning.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to today’s morning.
Night and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded 27.5 degrees Celsius in Teknaf under Chattogram division, while Thursday’s minimum temperature is 9.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia under Rangpur division.
