Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday predicted that rain may occur at many parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am yesterday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet”, said a met office bulletin issued here.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night to morning, added the bulletin.
However, Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall by (1-2) Celsius over the country.
The highest temperature was recorded as 28.5 degree Celsius in Dhaka on Wednesday while Thursday’s lowest temperature was 11.5 degree Celsius in Tentulia.
