Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasts light to moderate rain or thundershowers in some place across the country in 24-hour as of 9am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places in Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions, at a few places in Rangpur, Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places in Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy falls at some places over the country.,” said a met office press release here on Tuesday morning.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35.6 degrees celsius on Monday at Jashore in Khulna division while Tuesday’s minimum temperature 22.5 degrees celsius at Sylhet.
The highest rainfall in the last 24-hour as of 6am on Tuesday was recorded 52mm at Rangamati in Chattogram division, the release added.
