Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday predicted that light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Barishal divisions in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am yesterday. “Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night to morning”, said a met office bulletin issued here.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Panchagarah & Jashore and it may abate, it added.
