Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday. “Light fog may occur at some places over the country from today late night to today’s morning,” said a met office bulletin issued on Monday morning. Mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Chuadanga and Srimangal and it may continue, the bulletin said.
Night temperature may fall slightly over the country and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country’s western part and it may rise slightly elsewhere over the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 29.5 degrees Celsius in Teknaf of Chattogram, while Monday’s minimum temperature was 6.4 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division.
