Staff Reporter :On the occasion of Victory Day Dhooli Communications organised a weeklong film festival which began at Balaka Cineworld in the city yesterday. Presented by Versatile Media seven movies are scheduled to be screened during the festival. Inaugural ceremony of the film festival was taken place at yesterday morning where State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Ministry Junayed Ahmed Palak was present as the chief guest. Therefore, noted journalist Naimul Islam Khan, Deputy Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Ashraful Alam Khokon, actors Riaz and Ferdous, singers Asif Akbar and Pritom Ahmed, noted cultural personalities including CEO of Versatile Media Arshad Adnan, among others, were also present at the inauguration. On the opening day, movie Ora 11 Jon was screened. Today movie Agun-er Poroshmoni will be screened. However, on December 21 Aamar Bondhu Rashed, on December 22 Joyjatra, on December 23 Guerilla, on December 24 Megh-er Porey Megh and on December 25 Matir Moina are scheduled to be screened in the festival.
