On the occasion of Victory Day of Bangladesh a cultural organisation of the expatriate Bangladeshis in Scotland, Thistle Shapla Cultural Group staged a liberation war based story play titled Folafol Nimnochap at St Augustine High School Auditorium in Edinburg, Scotland recently.
Written by Prof Momtaz Uddin Ahmed Fakhrul Islam gave direction of the play. He also translated the play.
Dr Shahin Ahmed, Dr Dulal Chowdhury, Mir Shahjahan, Siraj Haque, Jalal Ahmed, Shirin Ghosh, Joni Ahmed and Shahnur Chowdhury acted in different roles in the play.
Dr Shahin Ahmed planned stage design of the play, while Anwar Hossain was in light and music direction and also backstage design.
