Ceiling lowered for mobile banking transactions

Staff Reporter :Bangladesh Bank (BB) has lowered the ceiling of mobile banking transactions after allegation that a ‘vested quarter’ is abusing the facility for criminal activities.BB issued a circular in this regard in the evening saying such steps have been taken to ensure discipline in the mobile banking service.According to the circular, a person may give highest Tk 15,000 as cash-in each day.
