Chief Engineer, Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Shyama Prosad Adhikari and LGED Additional Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers, Project Directors of different projects, Executive Engineers, Consultants, and other officials brought out a mourning procession to mark the National Mourning Day and 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation and the Architect of Independence of Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Tuesday.
They placed wreaths at the portrait of the Father of the Nation at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 32 No. Dhanmondi, Dhaka in the early hours of the day.
