An anonymous letter threatening to blow up the registrar’s building of Jahangirnagar University has been found at the registrar’s office.
JU Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique said an employee of the registrar’s office found the letter on the 2nd floor of the building on Thursday.
In the letter, it was threatened to bow up the registrar’s building exploding bombs if the JU vice-chancellor does not give recognition to the employees of the registrar’s office within November 9.
JU VC Prof Farzana Islam said, “We’re alert about the matter and we’ve informed the law enforcement agencies about it.”
