Law Ministry’s Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division Secretary Naren Das died of Covid-19.
He breathed his last at 7.00pm on Tuesday in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU), said the ministry’s Public Relations Officer Dr Md Rezaul Karim.
Noren Das was admitted to the hospital along with his wife after they developed breathing problems on July 5.
They were attached with coronavirus on July 7 and were under treatment there since then.
