Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General Benazir Ahmed on Wednesday said that a ‘legal vengeance’ would be taken against those who burnt seven people to death by throwing petrol bomb at a passenger bus at Chuddagram in Comilla.
The elite force boss made the remark at a views-exchange meeting on ‘resistance of violence and law and order situation’ in the ground of
Chauddagram Pilot High School in Comilla on Wednesday.
RAB-11 arranged the meeting where Tutul Chakravarty, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Comilla was present.
Speaking as the chief guest, Benazir wanted to know what did the miscreants get by killing peace-loving people? He termed the killers devilmen.
The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police of Chittagong Range, Shafiqul Islam said, law enforcers are capable of killing two miscreants if an innocent man is murdered.
The police official requested the common people to cooperate with polive and RAB on the highways across the country for the security of the citizens.
Earlier on Tuesday, unidentified criminal hurled petrol bombs at a passenger bus in Chauddagram of Comilla, leaving seven dead and 18 injured.
Deputy Commissioner Hasanuzzaman Kollol, Additional Director General of RAB Col Zia and Commander of Border Guard Bangladesh Battalion-10 Zakir Hossain, among others, were present in the programme.
