A Supreme Court lawyer on Monday sent a legal notice to officials concerned to amend a gazette to add ‘Joy Bangabandhu’ with national slogan.
The government on March 2 issued in a gazette notification, declaring ‘Joy Bangla’ as the country’s national slogan.
Confirming the matter to BSS, Advocate Abdullah Al Harun Bhuiyan Russel said he sent the notice to cabinet secretary, law secretary and education secretary.
“I have demanded to add Joy Bangabandhu alongside Joy Bangla as national slogan within next 10 days and issue the amended gazette,” he said, reports BSS.
