Legal agency involves with women trafficking

‘M/s Concord Apex’ a licensed recruiting agency has been involved with trafficking women in different countries.
The agency owner used to target distressed, divorcee and poor women and lured them for giving good jobs with handsome wages abroad.
Then they send those in different countries where most of those being tortured mentally and physically.
They used to take undertaking from the female workers that they would not file allegations against the recruiting agency.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) returned two of such tortured female workers from Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Two victim female workers arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday night.
RAB has arrested Abul Hossain, proprietor of Concord Apex agency and his associate Aleya Begum from City Heart Shopping Complex building in the capital as per allegations from different victim families.
Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al Momen, Commander of RAB-1 told the Media that the recruiting agency has legal license for sending manpower in foreign countries, but they were involved with trafficking women in different countries in illegal ways.
In most cases the female workers did not get their wages regularly.
The two victims who returned country with the help of RAB said that one of them got wages of only three months out of her nine months job there.
The other woman said that she got only two months wages while she worked the country for six months.
RAB Commander said that they would conduct investigation against the recruiting agency now.
