Lecture on ‘Journey Towards Economic Empowerment of Women’ held at DIU

With the aim to inform and motivate the educated youths of the struggle and challenges faced on route to success by the well known entrepreneurs of the country, Daffodil International University (DIU) organised Industry Academia Lecture Series on Entrepreneurship Development introduced by Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC) on Saturday at its auditorium in the city.
Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC) of Daffodil International University has taken the initiative where country’s renowned 12 successful well known Entrepreneurs are taking part in these lecture series gradually in different episode and delivering their success story. The programme was 7th of its continuous endeavour.
Rokia Afzal Rahman, President, Bangladesh Federation of Women Entrepreneurs ( BEWE) and former Adviser to the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh delivered the 7th lecture of the series on “Journey towards economic empowerment of women”. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University delivered the welcome address in the programme.
The programme was also addressed, among others by Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor, Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director ( Student Affairs) and Md. Abu Taher Khan, Director, Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC) of Daffodil International University.
Country’s renowned industrialists, business leaders, economists, teachers, researchers and elite of the civil society were present at the programme.
