Lecture on inter-religious harmony held at DU

A special lecture on “Reverend Sun Myong Moon’s Contribution in the field of Inter-religious and Intercultural Harmony” was held at RC Majumder Auditorium of Dhaka University (DU) on Saturday.
Organized by the Center for of Inter-religious and Intercultural Dialogue of DU, the lecture was addressed by Acting Vice- Chancellor Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad, Prof Dr Kazi Nurul Islam, among others. Director of Education of the Universal Peace Federation of USA, Dr Robert S Kittel delivered the lecture. “Bangladesh is a model of inter-religious harmony. To promote inter-religious harmony, University of Dhaka has established the Department of World Religions and Culture, which is the first of its kind in the whole Muslim world,” said Dr Nasreen.
“North Korean scholar Dr Sun Myong Moon dedicated his entire life to create a world of peace and promote interfaith and intercultural harmony,” she added.
