Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) has taken pre-cautionary measures and suspended all forms of leave of its field level officers and employees, in a bid to ensure immediate response to any natural calamity in the upcoming monsoon season. In an official statement, BWDB Director General Md Mahfuzur Rahman on Thursday directed all field level officials and employees to remain present at workplaces until further order.
The employees have also been asked to work with cautiousness and sincerity and take immediate measures to face the upcoming flood, maintaining communication with local administration, including district and upazila administrations.
