Education Secretary Md Nazrul Islam Khan as chief guest addressing on a workshop titled ‘Leadership for Girls for Change (L4G4C)’ jointly organized by Commonwealth of Learning (COL), and Bangladesh Open University (BoU) at Dhaka Regional Resource Center in the capital recently.
Acting Vice-Chancellor of BoU Prof Dr Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain presided over the seminar.
Among others, special guest Frances J Ferreira, Education Specialist (Open Schooling), COL, Canada, Treasurer of the university Prof Dr Abu Taher, Prof Dr Abul Hossain Ahmed Bhuiyan spoke on the occasion. Faculty member of Open School and Joint Director, Information and Public Relation were also present in the seminar. More than one hundred female student of BOU SSC and HSC program participated in the seminar.
