Le Meridien Dhaka has won Today’s Traveller Award for “Best International Business Hotel in Bangladesh” in 2016.
Former Governor of Manipur and Union Home Secretary Shri Vinod Kumar Duggal handed over the award to Le M,ridien Dhaka at the 10th Annual Today’s
Traveller Awards giving ceremony held at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, recently, said a press release on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, State Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel said, “Every award brings both joy and responsibility. The joy of being recognised and the responsibility of setting and maintaining new bench marks.”
Over 300 top-level management professionals from the Travel and Hospitality industry, as well as, heads of the corporate world attended the grand event.
Today’s Traveller Awards, one of the most respected awards in the travel industry, has always identified and recognised the achievements and accomplishments of progressive companies and leaders from the industry.
The 10th Today’s Traveller Awards recognised Game Changers who have changed the rules of the hospitality and tourism industries in their respective nations.
The Today’s Traveller Award is the third global award received by the Le M,ridien Dhaka in the past one year since the hotel soft launched in June 2015.
Upon its grand opening in November, the hotel has been nominated by three other international award programmes and is currently also in the running for three categories in the 2016 World Luxury Hotel Awards, for which the hotel’s team has also expressed high hopes.
