Sunriers Hyderabad mentor VVS Laxman termed Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan as one of the Most Valuable Players (MVP).
Such was Sunrisers Hyderabd’s team strength that they even couldn’t give one of the best batsmen in the world Kane Williams a regular scope to play.
Both Shakib and Williamson played so far one match for Hyderabad, who won two matches in three in the 12th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
Even though Shakib didn’t get the chance to make his presence felt, Sunrisers team mentor VVS Laxman had no reservation to heap praise on Shakib.
“He (Shakib) is very important cricketer for us. Not only us, he is one of the most valuable player for Bangladesh. It’s a privilege working with him,” Laxman, one of the great batsmen of India said in a ‘Sports Tak’ programme.
He said that he personally feels bad not to give them to match regularly but at the same time praised the players, considering that they have taken it sportingly.
