The movement of the lawyers of Chittagong Bar Association over the irregularities , corruptions and favourism in drawing lottery for allotment of lawyers chamber in two proposed lawyers building within the court hill premises is continuing from December 4 last.
The chamber aspirant lawyers launched movement against irregularities in drawing lottery coupon and demanding cancellation of lottery results. Lawyers Action committe held a protest meeting at No.3 lawyers auditorium on Tuesday .
The speakers in the meeting aid until the cancellation of lottery result, their movesment will continue . The speakers also blamed the lawyers association office bearers for adopting the irregularities nepotism and favouritism in conducting the lottery draw.
Special PP Mezabauddin, Special Metro Session Court PP Advocate Noman Chowhdury, Addl. PP Taslim Uddin and senior lawyers expressed solidarity to the anti-irsregularities movement of the lawyers.
An emergency meeting of the agitated lawyers held on Thursday in the court building premises where unanimously decided to suspend their movement upto sunday next subjject to cancellation of lottery results otherwise next action program will be enforced from 2 pm instantly , a lawyers sources said. c
